Ancillary Services for Clinics
Preventative Services are a crucial tool in the prevention and early diagnosis of chronic medical conditions. The CDC estimates that over 100,000 lives could be saved annually if patients had their recommended screening. The Preventative Services platform can help your practice identify patients that qualify for the preventative and other services within your practice. The platform integrates with many major EMRs with many more soon to be integrated.
Determining patient qualification can be tricky due to the volume of confusing regulations involved. The Preventative Services platform streamlines this through automated processes that help regulate the entire workflow, saving time, safeguarding billing and improving patient health outcomes.
The Preventative Services Platform is an intuitive, cloud-based software that makes performing and billing for preventative services quick and easy. Staff are walked through the entire process. The software determines patient eligibility prior to them coming to the practice then guides the office through every step within the visit, finalized with a customized, recommended superbill.
The AWV, mental health screening, advance care planning, behavioral counseling and chronic care management are all services that sit within the platform. An office can simply select which services they choose to do.
The Preventative Services and Chronic Care Management also help factor positively toward quality scoring under MACRA/MIPS.
Review the Preventative Services Platform options below:

- Amniotic Tissue Wound Care
A cutting edge wound healing treatment is making breakthroughs in treatment of diabetic ulcers and significantly improving patient outcomes. Amnitoic tissue-derived allografts are now available for physicians who treat diabetic ulcers and slow to heal wounds, significantly helping patients, some of whom may have otherwise been referred for amputation. In the US alone, approximately 6.5 million patients are affected by chronic wounds. This is fueled by the ageing population, obesity and diabetes. These resistant wounds add significantly to the health care bill, with estimates of over $25 billion spent annually to treat chronic wounds and even more if amputations are included. Patients who suffer slow healing wounds are often those with multiple chronic diseases, could be obese and have diabetes. Leg and foot ulcers are a common complication of diabetes due to poor circulation or neuropathies and pressure wounds occur in bed ridden or obese patients with limited mobility. Smoking is also a risk factor. Physicians are frequently challenged with the difficulty in healing wounds and typically refer these patients to podiatrists or wound centers. Allografts is an excellent add on to any physician looking to expedite healing in patients that have non healing wounds.
- Chronic Care Management
Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) commenced the provision of Chronic Care Management to physicians in January 2015. This multilayered care initiative is targeted to Medicare patients 65 years and older with 2 or more chronic disease states and has been slow to be taken up by physicians as an added service. Patients suffering with 2 or more chronic conditions are the biggest spenders of the health care dollar and preventive programs such as Chronic Care Management have been shown to reduce health care spending. Patients become increasingly proactive in managing their own health conditions with the support of a health assistant who calls them each month to check on their preventive screening, their functional ability and medication compliance. At the office level, implementation of Chronic Care Management can mean little to no time required on the part of the office when a 3rd party provider is used.We offer Chronic Care Management services that are easy to implement into your practice, provide an additional layer of care to patients as well as recurring revenue.
- Clinical Research Trials (CRT)
Clinical Research Trials (CRT) provide a rewarding opportunity for physicians to participate in medical science and become thought leaders among their peers. Participation in research trials enables physicians to provide innovative treatment options for their patients, while adding to their expertise. Conducting clinical trials educates physicians on leading edge treatments, medications and devices while providing an advantage to their patients. This also means patients can take advantage of treatments that may not be found elsewhere, enhancing patient loyalty and attracting new patients. Currently, only about 15% of physicians participate in research trials as they are unaware of the benefits or how to access trial opportunities available. Partnering with a Site Management Organization (SMO) gives physicians access to hundreds of different trials that are being conducted at any given time. Clinical trials provide an additional revenue for physicians with the average physician generating $200,000 or more per year for participating in just 2 trials. Services provided by the SMO are all encompassing, helping to minimize any additional burden that running additional programs in an office could bring.
- Comprehensive Muscle Activity Profiling (CMAP)
Neuromuscular pain, injuries and loss of strength are routine complaints for many patients. Accurate diagnosis of these ailments can be difficult without having access to the right data.Finding the cause can involve a variety of tests, patient questioning and history. Patients may have been through a variety of specialists from their family physician, to pain or orthopedist, physical therapist, chiropractor and even self assessment. Fine tuning the tools at any of these levels of physician can mean a quicker and accurate diagnosis for the patient and appropriate treatment. Comprehensive Muscular Activity Profiling CMAP) aids in evaluation of neuromuscular problems and can be easily performed at the physician office level.
- Durable Medical Equipment (DME)
Compliant, Convenient, And Hassle-Free DME Revenue Model – Make money selling DME for your clinic – not for your DME vendor. We are proud to offer a Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Dispensing solution that works with your practice to maximize patient convenience and compliance, while bringing in $5,000 to $10,000 of extra revenue per month, per provider, to your clinic. We know that offering DME directly to your patients can be a great solution. Our model is extremely simple – nothing like the expensive, complicated processes seen in certain “stock and consignment” style vendors which minimize profitability and limit dispensing convenience.
- DVT Prevention
Blood clots have long been a silent killer in the medical industry. Traditionally, clotting disorders have routinely been treated pharmacologically. DVT affects 2 million people each year and causes 300,000 deaths annually. Medications used, frequently have drug to drug or drug to food interactions, side effects of bruising and bleeding and a narrow therapeutic index. Until now, there has been little in the way of alternatives for prevention or cure for the clotting problems associated with Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT). Patients are at an increased risk of Venous Thromboembolism (VTE) after surgery, especially major orthopedic surgeries. The highest risk is during the surgery and in the 14 days post-surgery. VTE is one of the biggest reasons for hospital readmission post-surgery and the most common preventable cause of hospital death.
- Medical Weight Loss
Overweight and obese patients are a common sight in doctors offices. The war on weight has barely begun, mainly because physicians have lacked the techniques and reimbursements to make this successful in their practice. Patients who are overweight are at increased risk of many comorbidities and include many diabetics and prediabetics. Many patients are sedentary and have poor diets and lack the motivation or understanding of how to successfully change. Our Medical Weight Loss program is designed to give a practice everything they need to make weight loss a successful part of their business – in terms of patient outcomes and revenue. Many practices want to run weight loss in their practice but do not have the processes to be successful or have been asked to spend thousands of dollars to sign up in a franchise style model. Our program provides the practice with an achievable model that secures the practice bottom line and will see a ROI within the first month of the services. Most practices would expect that 35-50% or more of their patients are overweight or obese and could benefit from medical weight loss without the need for surgery. The patients you need to make this a successful piece of your business are already there.
- Medication Dispensing Options
Medication Dispensing is a practice enhancement for your office and also an ability to generate additional revenue dependent on your practice needs and payer mix. We seek solutions that provide benefits to physicians in terms of increasing revenues, reducing stress or maximizing time and efficiencies. Patients benefit from the convenience of additional services and enhanced care they receive from the many ancillary opportunities a practice can add. Our Medication Dispensing opportunities include in office dispensing, compounded medications, research programs, mail order dispensing and a MSO model. These options can ensure that we have a dispensing solution to suit your office needs. If you are looking to add patient convenience, customized medicine or revenue enhancement we have a solution for you.
- Observational Research
Clinical trials can be professionally and financially rewarding for physicians. Requirements for prior experience however can be a barrier to entry for physicians looking to get involved. Additionally, the complexities of patient recruitment and documentation can create a further barrier due to time constraints and process changes. Physicians enjoy the peer recognition that comes with participating in research. Observational studies become a platform for physicians to segue into the higher level of clinical trials through behavior research. Observational Studies are just that. Observational behavior is documented rather than a per patient or per test recruitment.Observational studies look at the Principal Investigators (P.I.) behavior related to following their Standard Operating Procedure for addressing various conditions based on the study chosen. Behavior modification based on findings and related outcomes is what is noted. Data is collected daily then quarterly reports submitted.

- Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM)
Changes to CMS in 2019 now make it easier for physicians to fulfill the requirements for Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM). Medical staff are now able to engage in the collection of data, instead of the physician. This program is compatible with Chronic Care Management and also a valuable addition to help the physician stay informed between patient visits. Medical staff are now able to engage in the collection of data, instead of the physician. This program is compatible with Chronic Care Management and also a valuable addition to help the physician stay informed between patient visits. RPM is used for patients suffering from multiple conditions that require a higher level of management. Any additional tracking will help keep the patient accountable to their own care as well as alert the physician of any changes in the patient condition.
- Retail Pharmacy
Retail Pharmacy offers a full solution for practices to introduce a complete medication solution for their patients. Offering pharmacy in your practice provides convenience to your patients. As many as 50% of patients fail to follow their doctor’s advice when it comes to their medication. A significant portion of that percentage is patients that fail to get their prescriptions filled. Lack of adherence to medications means poorer outcomes. Many medications are prescribed for chronic conditions like hypertension and diabetes. Lack of compliance means patients get sicker, have more complications and have higher mortality rates.
